- PACT (Programme of Action for Cancer Therapy) was created by the International Atomic Energy Agency (http://www.iaea.org) in 2004 to build upon the Agency’s experience in radiation medicine and technology, and enable developing countries to introduce, expand or improve their cancer care capacity and services in a sustainable manner by integrating radiotherapy into a comprehensive cancer control programme that maximizes its therapeutic effectiveness and impact. Such a programme integrates and aligns cancer prevention, surveillance,screening and early detection, treatment and palliative care activities and investments,and is set up based on the Guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO). - PACT (Professional Automotive Career Training) or Honda PACT is American Honda Motor\'s post-secondary training program for students interested in careers in Honda and Acura dealerships. Each program provides students with over 50% of the required factory technician training while receiving their general automotive education. Each PACT program is equipped to the same special tools and equipment found in dealership so students will be familiar with the latest technology before starting work. - PACT (Police and Communities Together), the Lancashire Constabulary\'s way forward in neighbourhood policing. By bringing the police and communities together, those members of the community have a real say in how their local police address problems which affect them. Monthly meetings are held in which the police, local residents, councillors, and other stakeholders discuss problems in their area. At the end of the meeting, PACT priorities are set, and the Community Beat Manager (CBM) is responsible for making sure that these issues are addressed during the following month, and reporting back to the subsequent PACT meetings.
